The People’s Party of Canada was founded in 2018 by our leader, Maxime Bernier, on the principles of: Freedom, Fairness, Responsibility & Respect.

 

Every vote for a People’s Party candidate is a wake-up call to a political system that doesn’t care about your concerns, calls you names and cancels you. It’s time to make your opinion known.

 

PPC members come from all economic and cultural backgrounds. About 1⁄3 of our new members come from the Conservative Party, but as many were former NDP voters and as many again had previously not voted. Our support for fair trade against the hollowing out of our industrial and resource sectors, the rights of parents, medical rights, the rights of taxpayers and the right to peaceful protest cut across all sectors of Canadian society. We value a peaceful and prosperous Canada, and we strongly support the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
